For almost 140 years Brisbane has met, mingled and created memories – stories - at The Regatta Hotel’s historic bars and on her ornate iron-laced verandas. Many Brisbanite's will tell you that they have their very own stories at the Regatta.
Now, the time has come to create some new stories of your own. In 2012 this exciting, new chapter has only just begun with the announcement of our beautiful new Front Bar and St Cafe officially open for your drinking and dining pleasure.
What's even better news? There is so much more of the story that is yet to come. There will be new spaces and places opening up all over the Regatta Hotel and whilst the restoration continues in the background, we invite you to become a part of the very beginning of this brand new chapter in the history of one of Brisbane's most loved hotels.
After the floods of January 2011, we have undertaken a huge challenge but the result will be breathtaking - incredible historical architecture paying homage to the designers of yesteryear, when detail was appreciated and craftsmanship an art; merging seamlessly with modern functionality and design. It’s a story all on its own.
While all this is happening, we are open for business – the Front Bar and St Cafe are unlike anything the Regatta has ever seen. And as always, the beers are cold, the kitchen busy and our hospitality as warm as ever.
Without a doubt, the Regatta Hotel is the Grand Lady of the Brisbane River, standing sentinel over the city. So, come in, tell us your story; or listen to ours, while around us all, history is rebuilt, and this great hotel is reopened.
