Regatta Boatshed named Queensland’s Best Restaurant
Regatta Hotel’s Boatshed restaurant has been crowned “Queensland’s Best Restaurant” by the Queensland Hotels Association at the annual awards night for the industry’s peak body on Wednesday.
The restaurant was assessed according to key criteria such as presentation, ambience, service, popularity, value for money, and of course, the menu, featuring its signature wet and dry aged steaks.
Over the last year, the Regatta Boatshed has played host to a number of large events, including the Grand Ladies’ Luncheon for International Women’s Day, the RNA Paddock to Palate campaign, Origin Legends Lunch, and the Mandate Breakfast for men’s health.
Regatta General Manager Rob Brady said the Boatshed had established itself as a stylish, full service pub restaurant with stand-out value and a classic approach to food and beverage service.
“Our team works closely with suppliers to ensure a solid relationships. We seek the very best produce from them, focusing on what is fresh, seasonal, and as much as possible, local,” Mr Brady said.
The Boatshed specialty is, of course, a fantastic steak menu which is balanced by a choice of seafood, chicken, pasta and salad dishes.

Esteemed restaurateur, Michael Platsis well known to the Brisbane dining scene over several decades with his eponymous restaurants, is on hand as maître d’.
The Boatshed also hosts the famed Henley Room, a premium private dining space which offers an intimate dining experience for up to 22 people.
