Bocuse d’Or Dinner

Acclaimed French chef and Bocuse d’Or champion Serge Vieira recently joined Australia’s 2015 Bocuse d’Or candidate Shannon Kellam and former Regatta Hotel Executive Chef Shane Keighley to present a six-course feast at Regatta Boatshed.

Hosted by celebrity chef Miguel Maestre, the dinner marked a rare opportunity for Brisbane to experience the work of a Michelin star chef, and was the only opportunity for the general public to gain access to a Bocuse d’Or event of this kind on Australian soil.

Bocuse d’Or is a biennial world cooking contest that, since its inception in 1987, is regarded globally as the culinary equivalent of the Olympic Games.

All ticket proceeds from the event went towards funding training, research and development of the not-for-profit Bocuse d’Or Academy Australia in the lead-up to the 2015 world final.
