The Room

Level 1 - Winterford, Thornton, Gailey, Gazzard, Verandah Bar

Located on the first level of the Hotel, these function rooms are all fully air-conditioned.  There are glass bi-fold ‘sound proofed’ sliding doors between each function room; once opened, they stack neatly against the wall which provides the flexibility to combine rooms together or open up the entire floor to suit the needs of each function.

The Winterford Room is located at the front of the hotel and overlooks Coronation Drive and the Brisbane River. It has its own private bar to service your guests as well as access to the only designated outdoor smoking area on the functions level. 

The Verandah Bar also has a private bar and overlooks the internal courtyard and Boatshed Restaurant. This room is perfect for informal cocktail style events.

The Thornton, Gailey and Gazzard rooms run down the Sylvan Road side of the venue, and have access onto the veranda overlooking this street*. These rooms are great for seated dinners and intimate cocktail parties. Although they do not have private bars, they are serviced by drinks-waiters for any bookings with a bar tab or beverage package.

*please be aware that due to sound restrictions the veranda areas must be clear from 10pm with the exception of the Veranda Bar
